The Maritime Business and Information Exchange (MBIX) is a community
of professionals interested in sharing business-related information,
networking and professional improvement.
Mission:
To build, nurture and provide services to a community of people with
roots in the marine and related industries that are interested in:
- Professional improvement
- Exchanging business-related ideas and information
- Business-to-Business (B2B) networking
- A central source for relevant business information

- Maintain a central database of information relevant to the community
- Setup and administer online, business-oriented discussion forums
- Maintain an online B2B directory
- Moderate a referral/lead swap email list
- Promote, organize and run business networking events

Membership Costs:
MBIX membership will be free through December 31st, 2001.
After that, a membership fee will be assessed.
