Net proceeds generated by MBIX will be used to assist participating state maritime colleges, Federal academies, branches of the armed services and other professional associations in their recruiting and membership development efforts.

Please read these guidelines in their entirety at least once!
- By posting to our forums, listservs, archives and other venues, you explicitly agree to the following conditions regarding original content posted by you for distribution to MBIX members:
You own or have release of rights for all material submitted.
Submission of material to MBIX constitutes permission for non-exclusive, perpetual rights for electronic distribution of your material only in the form of archives, where your material is part of the archive.
Site moderators disclaim all responsibility for the accuracy or ownership of material submitted to MBIX.
- MBIX is intended to be a means of disseminating business- related information and opportunities to the MBIX community.
- Think and edit before you post to our databases or forums. Remember that hundreds of people are going to read what you send!
- Be Brief. We are all busy so stay on topic.
- Use of profanity will not be tolerated.
- Please refrain from blatant self-promotion all venues except the Directory.
- Sign your posts to our forums and listservs. Putting your business affiliation and other contact information at the end of your post is also a good idea.
- No personal attacks.
- Contribute. Some lurking is Ok but don't be afraid to join discussions or post links, archives, etc. when you feel you have something to offer.
